Cacica’s Balance

Created as part of our Cacicas Collection, this one-of-a-kind necklace is inspired by the balance between strength, wisdom, and femininity embodied by the Taíno cacicas—women remembered for their presence and leadership within their communities.

At the center of the design is a real preserved purple orchid, commanding attention with its rich natural color while maintaining the delicacy that makes every flower unique. Surrounding it are natural agates in soft shades of blue, cream, and earth tones, creating gentle movement and contrast throughout the piece.

The necklace is brought together by camándula seeds, whose organic gray tones provide a natural foundation for the design. Their subtle texture allows the larger agate pieces to appear almost suspended throughout the necklace, while golden stainless steel accents introduce a refined touch of warmth.

The circular agates were intentionally arranged with movement in mind. Their different colors and natural markings represent individuality—distinct elements that coexist without losing their own identity. Together with the orchid and seeds, they create a piece that feels both ancestral and contemporary.
